Tasty Tuesday!

Hello! So I found this recipe on Budgetbytes and thought I'd try it out!
It's a one pot red pepper pasta, it looked delicious so I thought I'd share how I made it and tell you all if it tasted alright.

You'll need
2 Boxes of Chicken Stock
Roasted Red Peppers
4 Garlic cloves
Black Pepper
Fettuccine noodles
Dried Basil
15oz Canned Fire Roasted diced tomatoes
Red crushed pepper flakes
4oz Cream cheese
2 Turkish Bay leaves

  • Step One. Cut up some Roasted red peppers, onions, garlic. I forgot to document the removal and cutting of the roasted red peppers. All you do is take a fork fish them out of the jar, then cut them into strips or what ever you like!

  • Step Two. You take and add all the ingredients and combine them! So what I did was pour a little chicken stock down with 1 Tbsp of butter and cook the red pepper flakes, onion, garlic, and some thyme. I only cooked them for about 1-2 mins. Then I poured the chicken stock, roasted tomatoes, roasted peppers, fettuccine noodles (Break them in half!), and dried basil onto the garlic and onions that were already cooking. I also added two Turkish bay leafs for extra flavor.

  • Step Three. Turn it to high with a lid on until it starts to boil. I checked on mine every couple of mins to make sure the noodles were not sticking to the bottom. Once it's to a boil you want to lower the heat and let it simmer till the noodles are done!

  • Step Four. Now if you use the optional items like I did, then you'll need to take a cup aside with some of the juice. You're going to cut the amount of cream cheese you'd like to use I did 4oz as the recipe said, and put it in the cup with the juice and used a fork to break up the cream cheese and stir it around till it was incorporated! Then just pour the juice back into the pot and stir. Again, I forgot to get a picture of mixing the cream cheese in. But I did get a picture of it when it's done! (。┰ω┰。)

  • Step Five. Enjoy! Plop it into a bowl grate some Parmesan on top and BAM you've got dinner!
My Thoughts.
This is AMAZING!!! It's fast, simple and full of flavor. Anyone can make this recipe! It tastes better than any sit down restaurant. I definitely recommend a lil freshly grated Parmesan as I did, but even without it's insanely good. I recommend you try this recipe if you ever get a chance!

Garlic Bread!
Italian Style Altamura Bread
Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C

So this wasn't a part of the recipe, but I thought I'd share a quick and easy way to make garlic bread with y'all!

  • Step One. Preheat your oven to around 375°F or 190°C. Take your garlic, parsley and chop them very finely.

  • Step Two. Take one stick of butter and pop it in a bowl and microwave it till its a lil soft, we did around 20 seconds. (Only do this part if it was cold from the fridge, You can also sit it out for a bit while you prepare everything else.)

  • Step Three. My lovely sous chef mixed the garlic and parsley into the now pliable butter.

  • Step Four. Cut your bread! You can see my lovely sous chef cutting it just far enough to get the mixture in between each piece. DON"T cut all the way through!!

  • Step Five. Once you've buttered the bread pop it in the oven! You want to have it cooking for about 10-15 mins. Make sure you don't leave it unattended, you want to make sure its cooked to your liking!

  • Step Six.  Enjoy! Pull the bread apart or you can further cut where you left a bit on the bottom and serve!

That's it for now! Have a wonderful week and as always, Positive vibes!

Graze Box Review ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ Hello again! I just received my monthly Graze box and thought I'd show and tell.

The Blueberry crumble granola topper is pretty good, when I first opened it the scent of blueberries blasted my nostrils. There are lil almond slivers, blueberry infused cranberries, & blueberry granola clusters. This would be amazing on yogurt, or you can be like me and eat half of it by itself!

Graze's popping corn is awesome, I don't know what more to say, it's light with no butter and just a pinch of salt. A great snack at any hour of the day, and a healthier choice.

The Japanese Miso is a new addition to Graze. This is the first time I've received this in one of my boxes. I'm gonna start by saying the side of Edamame beans is amazing! I could just have a bag of these alone. 10 out of 10 would order 15 pound bag of them. So for the Miso you need to mix 8 ounces of water (1 cup) with the paste Graze has given you, then you stir it in and enjoy. Enjoying is the difficult part.. It's like sipping Soy sauce with hot water. Definitely not a good taste for me.

The Cocoa & Vanilla flapjacks are my favorite out of the box to be honest. If you like coco pebbles you'll love this, it's basically the same flavor. I haven't had a flapjack from Graze that I haven't obsessed over. This one's more on the sweet side, you get a blast of dark chocolate when you bite into it. It's moist, chewy and packed with flavor!

So my overall opinion is that you should definitely try a Graze box even if it's just for a month. They're always awesome, you can customize which items sound appealing to you and would like to try or trash ones you just don't want to receive or get in your box!

Here are some of the box options you choose from!

Free People North Star Over the Knee Boot Review :3 ~

What's up everyone! Time to review my latest obsession; the over the knee boot starring Free Peoples North Star Boot!

They're gorgeous faux suede boots with authentic leather lining, complete with rubber soles which make them very easy to walk in.
I wear a 6 to a 6.5 depending on the shoe and fit. I opted for the 37 instead of the 36 just in case I wanted to wear socks, leggings or tights. I'm glad I sized up, they wouldn't have fit as nice with socks if I had gotten the 36, but I can definitely tell the slight size difference with socks on. My foot slips just a tiny bit while walking, but nothing too severe.

They come up about 4 inches from my knee, and even when tied will fall slightly -- about an inch or so.
Now wearing skinny jeans may be a whole other issue. The fabric will bunch up near the ankles, making for a not so nice bulge to form from the bunched up fabric. I suggest getting a nice pair of Jeggings or leggings that are thinner, if you are like me and have a little more meat on your bones.

They also fit better than the Stuart Weitzman 50/50s I tried some on and could hardly get my foot in the boot. The Free People Boot has some stretch and makes them VERY comfortable. I also like the fact that even with bigger legs they still look amazing and seem to look good on every shape and size which is awesome!

Now for the original price of $348, I can't see the boots being WORTH that much money... But for the sale price of $99 bucks I think they're worth the splurge.
Compared to boots like Stuart Weitzman 50/50s The Highlands, or Dolce Vitas Nikka Boots they're a pretty good alternative, especially for the price! Stuart Weitzman will cost you around $655 for the 50/50s to around $798 for The Highland and $300 for the Dolce Vita Nikka.

So if you've been dying for a nice pair of over the knee boots that are comparable to Stuart Weitzmans, this is definitely the way to go. They are softer than a new born's bottom, and unlike the Stuart Weitzman or the Dolce Vita Nikka it won't cost you your first born child, an arm & leg just to be able to buy them.

Hope you all have a wonderful week! I'll be reviewing a product from Living Libations in about a week or two :).

:3 Whaddup here are some words & things.

Hello, I'm Missy; and I thought I'd do a lil introduction for this here blog. Here are some facts about me, and my life.
My entire life, I've been around video games... Being the only girl with three brothers, and having an amazing dad who loves gaming as much as my three siblings, it was inevitable; and I wouldn't change it for the world.
I'm not very good with make-up or fashion, but it hasn't stopped me from loving both.
I have insanely curly hair and it has been a journey trying to find the right products and figuring out how to take proper care of it.
I think eyes are rad, here's the best link ever.
I stand at 4 feet 11 inches. It's pretty awesome.
My Best Friend/Sista from anotha mista Amberlyn also has a blog and does reviews on Beauty & Nutritional boxes!
